About Us

At JP3 Training & Performance, we understand that developing young athletes requires more than just physical training. That's why we offer a comprehensive approach that goes beyond the conventional methods. Our goal is to unleash the full potential of young athletes by nurturing their physical, mental, and environmental components.

We combine an intentional approach with years of experience to design personalized training programs that cater to the unique needs of each young athlete.

Psychology (Mindset)

We recognize that mental toughness is just as important as physical strength. We incorporate mental skills training into our programs to help young athletes develop focus, confidence, and resilience. Through visualization exercises, goal-setting techniques, and mindfulness practices, we empower them to overcome challenges, enhance their performance, and build a strong mindset that will serve them both on and off the field.

Performance (Skill Set)

Each client receives a Player Performance Plan which tracks each core area of athlete skill development. This plan centers around six critical components every young basketball player needs to succeed. Skill work, Shooting, Strength & Conditioning, Structured Play, Speed & Agility, and Stretching & Recorvery.

Parenting (Environment)

Athlete development is largely based on their environment and the support they receive. Simply dropping kids off at practices and games is not enough. Whether it’s the words we are using, wrong expectations we are projecting, or negative energy we harbor, our goal is to help cultivate a strong environment that invigorates growth in young athletes.

Personalized Mentorship and Support

At JP3 Training & Performance, we understand that each young athlete is unique. We endeavor to understand their aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses, and offer personalized mentorship and support. We foster a positive and nurturing environment that promotes growth, self-confidence, and progressive development. Our athletes are not just part of a program; they become part of a process that is committed to their success.

“Our son has learned more from Jason than any other trainer. He is encouraging, he pushes him, and he is honest in his assessment of his skill set and how he is doing. He tells him the areas he sees he needs work on. This is not an easy lesson and is not just all about shooting. It is a well rounded training of all aspects of basketball. Our son has improved so much mentally and skill set. The most important part we feel Jason wants our child to be the best player he can be and Jason puts his heart into training him.”
